Okay, so I’ve been looking into the anime No.6. and needless to say, I love it. the anime only has six episodes as of now but I’m going to give my unbiased and professional opinion. No.6 is about a boy named Sion, who is regarded as a genius in a technologically advanced but repressed society. On his twelfth birthday he aids a criminal and is stripped of all rights as a citizen. Four years later they are reunited when Sion is taken to a correction facility and the criminal comes to his rescue.
That’s the best summary I can right right now. I’ll probably edit this later anyway so whatever. But onto the review.
Okay so, unlike some opinions, this doesn’t strike me as BL at all. More like with the society ,of which the main characters grew, up in didn’t teach the basics of true human emotion and these kids can’t tell the difference between ‘like as a friend’ and ‘love’. I will admit that there are more versions of love, but this one strikes me as that emotional love then that sexual love portrayed in Yaoi. It just seems deeper than that and a lot more complicated, but like I said there are only six episodes out so we’ll see. But I would be very, very upset if it turned into another Yaoi. I don’t think it will, but surprising things do happen. anyway I digress, the series is a science fiction genre with a fast pace that just kind of leaves you gasping for more (or at least for me it does). Now a few negatives that I find that come to mind. Is the anime almost makes me think of someone who was malcontent with D.gray-man and decided to take the characters of Allen and Kanda and hyped up the story or something like that. the music is nice but it’s a little quiet, I won’t say it doesn’t fit but I’m one of those people who likes to hear the words of the song and not just sound. but like I said it’s nice.
if I had to use points I would put it at a 4.8 out of five
